Some days at the ballpark are better than others. Some days everything just seems to go your team’s way. These are the kind of days on which the beer seems a little bit colder, the air a little bit warmer, and a summer afternoon just seems to have that lazy quality wherein it doesn’t have to obey the laws of time and space and can stretch on forever.
For me, today was one of those days.
The hour is getting late, so I’m going to let the pictures do the talking for me from here on out. Before I do that though, I want to say one last thing: The Brewers are in sole possession of first place in the NL Central at the All-Star break. Just let that soak in for a minute.
Matt Garza signed a ball for me.
We got on the jumbotron in the 1st with a little help from our friends.
This made the rounds on the Brewers’ Facebook and Twitter pages. Thanks, Caitlin!
And, the Brewers won big!
That’s what I call a perfect day at the ballpark!
